Country Club of Columbus

The Country Club of Columbus was established in 1909 by a number of local citizens who shared a fondness for golf. These founders wisely engaged the design services of Donald Ross, arguably the era’s foremost golf architect. Ross designed a spectacular course calling for long, accurate tee shots, accurate iron play, precise handling of the short game and consistent putting.

Keeping true to Ross’ original vision, today the course stretches out to 6,515 yards on a par-71 layout. For decades, the Club has been a staple of the amateur golf scene both in the state of Georgia and beyond, developing a reputation among the premier layouts in the entire Southeast.
