Only active NewClub members are eligible for Quest For The Crown.

NewClub reserves the right to make modifications to the prizes at any time based on budget, entry fee collections, membership statuses, and any other circumstances throughout the year. The prize pool is dependent on the players who participate and the entry fee prize pool. NewClub will retain a 15% admin fee to run the season-long competition.

The Quest golf tournament format is team aggregate Stableford scoring. Each member of a team plays an 18-hole round, earning Stableford points for each hole. The team’s points are then aggregated together for a total team score. Stableford scoring is handicapped (net).

Stableford scoring (net) for each hole:

Eagle = 6 points
Birdie = 4 points
Par = 2 points
Bogey = 0 points
Double bogey or worse = -1 point
Albatross = 8 points
Hole-in-one = 25 points

March 13 -- Registration opens

September 15 -- Regular season ends

September 20 -- Playoffs begin

October 31 -- Playoffs end

The number of teams who qualify for the playoffs will be announced later as it is dependent on the number of teams and registrations.

Teams may have a maximum of 5 players and a minimum of 3 players. Teams will be blind drafted after sorted by A, B, C, D handicap levels.

Members who join NewClub may be added to a Quest team until June 30. After June 30, new members must wait until next year to participate in Quest.

Members who resign NewClub memberships, scheduled to cancel, or are otherwise not in good standing with the club are not eligible for participation or prize.

Quest rounds must be officially declared using our Official Online Form.

Any emails, Slack messages, texts, or other methods of communication to the NewClub team is NOT an official declaration.

Quest rounds must be declared at least 1 hour prior to play.

The regular season has a maximum of 16 rounds that can be declared and scored. The playoffs have a maximum of 6 rounds.

Rounds cannot be declared retroactively after play.

As long as a declaration of Quest round is officially declared (via Official Form) at least 1 hour prior to tee time, the round can be valid and a score can be posted. The player must reach out to help@newclub.golf to verify valid declaration of the round and send a photo of the scorecard.

Each player must declare and post a minimum of 1 (one) round for the regular season and the playoffs. If this minimum is not met, the team is disqualified from the competition, unless a player is no longer in good standing with the club.

In the playoffs, each player is allowed to post a maximum of three (3) rounds.

Ties are broken using the USGA scorecard playoff.

The score that will be used for the tiebreaker is the last posted Quest round.

If the tying players have the same score for the last nine, determine the winner on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes, and finally, the 18th hole.

Each team member will be able to select from one (1) of the options listed. The first-place team also wins the Official Crown and a Titleist GT driver and fairway metal with a free fitting.

Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

To be eligible for the lottery for three (3) dozen boxes of Titleist golf balls, you must be an active NewClub member and in good standing with the club.

To officially enter the lottery, a NewClub member must pay and register successfully for the Quest For The Crown.

Members must participate in the Quest For The Crown as an active team member. If the winner does not participate after winning the lottery, they may be subject to loss of good standing in NewClub.

The winner will be drawn randomly on the announced lottery date. The actual lottery date is subject to change, regardless of announcement.

The winner will receive three (3) dozen boxes of either the Titleist ProV1 or Titleist ProV1x model golf balls. There is no additional fee or charge for golf balls.

Representatives from Titleist may need to reach out to the winner to provide shipping information, golf ball preference, or other information to fulfill the order.

Shipping charges are not expected to be required, but may apply in extenuating circumstances.

NewClub has the right to update these terms at any time for any reason.

Max net double bogey, lateral penalty areas only, no re-teeing, and always a good pace of play awareness.

Any score outside of 300 to 1 odds (exceptional scores) will be automatically reviewed by the Handicap Council and can be disqualified. (See chart for probabilities.)
